DescriptionThe brazier is a roughly cylindrical shape , narrowing towards the base, and with a rectangular opening at the base on one side. There is a raised decorative panel above the opening, which is banner-like with bamboo, flowers, Chinese characters, and a scroll pattern border. There are three triangular details for the accommodation of grills, on the rim as well as three c.1/2 down on the interior sides of the brazier. The ewer is small and circular with a hollow cylindrical side handle and a delicate narrow spout and oval top opening. The lid is circular with a recessed centre and a small "pinched" finial ".
