DescriptionThe view is of the Victoria Inner Harbour as seen from the water looking east towards Wharf St. The building at about 1/4 from the left border is the rear of the 1874-75 Federal government Custom House at 1001 Wharf Street. The large building on the right about 1/3 from the right side is the rear of the 1894 Post office which was demolished in 1955 and replaced with a modern building. Spire in the background is of the original Christ Church Catherdral. The low wharf building with HBC written on it is the Hudson's Bay Company.
