DescriptionA bronze brazier (a metal receptacle containing live coals etc.) and ear handle bowl (which would contain food, usually meat, and be placed atop the brazier).
The openwork sides of the brazier depict a carnivore and snake on one side, a winged dragon (?) on the other, a zoomorphic creature on the front with an avian-like body (side view) and a frontal view of its face with long floppy ears and a muzzle extending outwards. At the end near the long flat handle extending out is a turtle with its head and neck out and with a detailed pattern on its shell.
The brazier is 'supported' by four human forms acting as pedestals/legs, one near each corner.
