DescriptionTapering cylindrical vase with curved shoulders, waisted neck and slightly flared rim. There are two opposed masks and loose ring handles on the neck, the body elaborately carved with trees, pavilions and figures (palace scenes), all bracketed by a jui-I head and lotus band at foot and shoulder. The shoulder has low relief dragons; the neck has floral scrolls and two panels with trees, huts and figures; the mouthrim with narrow fret band.
