DescriptionLarge Florentine Maiolica vase (Cantagalli factory) has a tear shaped body on a small pedestal foot, a narrow banded neck and a slightly flared rim. There are two elaborate serpent shaped looped handles on the neck and shoulders and two masks at the base of the handles on the body. It is decorated with a painted battle scene depicting soldiers in an extensive landscape.
