DescriptionA gilt bronze belt fitting of openwork design depicting a dragon-like creature with its head (and upper body) turned backwards and incised detail over the top surface. The front has a raised outer edge attached that frames the fitting (a part is missing around the top left corner). There are three rectangular openings at the base to fit hinged attachments.
