DescriptionA round bellied jar with a wide circular mouth & a tripod base consisting of three tapering feet. The jar is red earthenware covered with a green lead glaze. The middle of the jar is banded with a squared ridge above which is a molded 'Parthian shot' motif which depicts a horseman shooting a bow & arrow at a bull, interspersed with low relief stylized dragons.Status
