I grew up here in Victoria, this wonderful place surrounded by two of my favourite things in life, mountains and ocean. I am a part of large supportive family of predominantly non-artistic but wonderful people. My parents were always supportive and loved to see my work throughout high-school years, into my acceptance at the Visual Arts Program at Camosun College.
Once graduating from the Visual Arts Program in 2010, I took a year to live and work in Munich, Germany. Living abroad really changed my world. I was lucky enough to be able to see new places, meet new people from all over the globe, learn a new language, and experience different cultures first hand. Since then, I studied at UBC for a year before settling at UVIC to finish up my degree. I graduate from UVIC in 2015 earning a Fine Arts Degree with Honours in Art History and a Minor in History.
I have been working at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria for over a year now and I could not ask for a better professional environment to be included in. I love having the opportunity to work with local Artists in the Gallery Shop, and to be able to represent the amazing work that they do. My goal at the Art Gallery is to create a space where our guests and community feel welcome to experience and talk about art.
In my spare time you can find me with my nose in a book, painting, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and adventuring around.
