Born in Germany and raised in southern Ontario, I was instilled with an appreciation for culture and heritage at an early age. I eventually attended Queen’s University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Classical Studies. After relocating to the west coast, I completed a diploma in Cultural Resource Management and a Professional Specialization Certificate in Collections Management at the University of Victoria.
Before settling into my current position as Registrar at the AGGV in 2014 I worked for several other art galleries, museums, and national historic sites across Canada in various collections and curatorial roles.
I am also an active member of the Emerging Museum Professional community in Victoria, and currently also working to complete a Master’s in Public History at the University of Victoria.
While all facets of museum and gallery work interest me greatly, my passion lies with collections and exhibition management. As a self-proclaimed introvert, I feel most at home in the collections vault.
