BiographyFormerly monk of Myoshinji, in Kyoto, left to devote full time to calligraphy. By 1976 had been invited by People's Republic of China three times for research in calligraphy. Was one of three calligraphers sent by Japan to Nixon's White House. 20th century Zen, Chinese style.
