DescriptionLeaf moulded saucer has a circular shape, & is decorated as if the surface were laid with leaves, in two alternating layers. Raised moulding suggests the texture of a real leaf surface. The upper layer is composed of four clover-shaped leaves coloured around their edges with a yellowish green glaze which also circles outside rim of saucer. Four thick mauve painted veins with finer branches covering the leaf. Surface radiate outwards from the centre of saucer at right-angles. Edge of saucer is defined by the edges of the leaves, so is rippled & irregular.
