DescriptionShallow circular dish has a wide flat rim, rounded sides and a short straight foot. The interior well is gently curved and has a crackled white glaze with coloured overglaze decorative details depicting a scene with four figures in a landscape with trees and rocks. One male figure holds a partially opened scroll with calligraphy, while an elderly man with a staff and a woman and another man look on. The rim of the dish is painted gold and the exterior (excluding the underside of the base) is painted with dark brown lacquer.
