DescriptionLidded incense burner shaped as a lotus head with petals raised outward, supported by a foot consisting of three tortoises arranged with a vine-like element around the base. The lid is perforated, has a scalloped edge and a crane finial. Entire piece is inlaid with narrow silver lines, including the pattern on the backs of the tortoises, the feathers of the crane and the veins of the petals.
