DescriptionFour lobed plate is of a basically oval shape with raised sides & a moulded rim. Painted decoration consists of a deep blue ground on the inside walls & well of plate, reserving three mirror shapes, framed with gilt cartouches, & a central oval trimmed with gilt in a regular dot pattern, surrounded by a plain gold band. All four reserves are delicately painted with polychrome floral sprays. An elaborate gilt pattern depicting a hanging basket with fruit & trailing foliage is painted on the blue ground between each mirror reserve.
