Cheryl Bryce

Cheryl Bryce has been harvesting traditional plants with her grandmother since she was a child. She is a member of the Songhees Nation, and a leader in reviving the camas, a nutritious bulb that has been harvested by Coast Salish people on Vancouver Island for thousands of years. Bryce manages The Lekwungen Food Systems (LFS) project, which aims to reinstate Indigenous food systems and food systems management in the Capital Region District of BC.
