Add art to your event
Treat your guests to an experience steeped in art & culture!
Let the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria set the stage for your next special event. Whether you are hosting a corporate cocktail party or the wedding of a lifetime, there are few locations in Victoria that offer such an exquisite backdrop.
The beautiful Spencer mansion (built in 1889) and modern galleries provide the perfect cultural setting for a picturesque event. The Spencer Mansion offers a period-restored dining room, reception room and ornately wood-paneled foyer. The facility can accommodate up to 80 for a sit-down event, and up to 150 for a cocktail reception.
All funds raised through renting the Spencer Mansion support the exhibitions and programming at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. Just another way to support the AGGV and add art to your life!

Weddings at the Gallery
Ideal for an intimate, elegant celebration, host your wedding in style at the AGGV. Invite guests to view the exhibition Galleries, hold the ceremony in the beautiful Asian Garden and dance in the same room as King George V.
The Gallery can accommodate both a ceremony and reception. The Asian Garden is a wonderful location in which to exchange vows, while the entire main floor of the Mansion can be rented for receptions. The Spencer Mansion is also ideal for late fall or winter weddings, providing a welcome setting for your celebration.
Outside among Japanese maples and Garry Oak trees, the Gallery's Asian Garden is home to the Japanese Shinto shrine. Exchange vows by the Japanese pond, in front of the Shinto shrine or on the porch of this beautiful historic home.
