This year, Christmas gets (even) gayer at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. The AGGV
and Intrepid Theatre are teaming up to present a fun and festive event,
happening (winter) // Homo for the Holidays—an evening of interdisciplinary, queerthemed
and cabaret-style performances complete with a dance party, inspired cocktails
and art.

Canadian Historical Women Artists, is making Victoria its first stop in western Canada and putting

It is full circle for Victoria-born artist Anna Banana; the artist will return to her stomping
grounds to celebrate the opening of a major retrospective of her work. Showing at the Art
Gallery of Greater Victoria from September 19, 2015 to January 3, 2016, Anna Banana:
45 Years of Fooling Around with A. Banana spans Banana’s long and accomplished
career, including a number of current projects. The exhibition is accompanied by a full-
colour publication of Banana's work—the first to document the full expanse of her
remarkable career.

Five new board members were elected to the Board of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
at the Gallery’s AGM this month.

Leslie Hildebrandt, Vice President, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs with Land Title and
Survey Authority of BC, has held many senior management roles with the Province of
British Columbia over the years in policy and legislative initiatives and environmental
reviews. Hildebrandt is a member of the Law Society of BC and has lived in Victoria for 30
